The Powhatan Tribe



 

Since my tribe was located in the Northeast/ Eastern Woodlands region, geography played a big part of the Powhatan's daily lives. They had to build easy houses that they could take down really quickly if they had to move. As you could probably tell by now,the powhatan people were hunter-gatherersso the men would hunt for meat while the women would gather fruit, corn, etc.
